A great film without a doubt. For some people it may be slow and dragging, but for me it’s a very pleasant film to watch and is somehow calming. The bombastic Anthony Quinn, Bronson's excellent villain, a script full of (watch out!) meaningful dialogue about faith of all kinds and humor, Morricone's divine music and the gradual gradation that makes the end of the film breathtaking. One hundred percent spaghetti, which, I think, could easily appeal to non-fans of this genre. ()
