inglés Deep Throat is indeed a famous, albeit semi-amateur, mediocre pornographic film that wouldn't be worth watching for me. However, a very interesting documentary used its title. It combines an attractive theme and professional editing and gives us genuine entertainment alongside educating about a certain subject and period. The film not only tells the history of pornography in the world of cinema but also explores society's perception of sex, its taboo, and the confrontation of sexuality with the Christian religion, specifically its fundamentalist interpretation. It also touches on contemporary politics and portrays the feminist movement in a negative light. It reveals that many renowned filmmakers started as creators of commercial pornographic films and, last but not least, it entertains the audience with a series of scandalous details from the lives of porn actors and directors. Overall impression: 95%. ()

inglés An excellent documentary, both in terms of content and form. The individual interviews with porn pioneers are very entertaining, full of total freaks. After the making of the most profitable film of all time, even their destinies have something to them. In addition, as an artifact of porn pop culture with all of the furious debates, Deep Throat does a good job of capturing the changes in American society in the 1970s, which the authors document well with both current analyses and contemporary materials. The confrontation between freethinkers and conservative "hitmen" is always permeated with something irritating for our people... probably because hearing someone defend censorship with such obvious fanaticism evokes nausea. Undoubtedly, an even more revelatory film could be made about the phenomenon of pornography, but this ruthless homage to the classics is fun and educational. And that's what classic porn is all about, isn't it? ()
