Hámor Feri, a young director general in Sopron, and Ág Ilona, his secretary, are in love with each other. Feri's mother, however, has a different woman in mind for her son to marry. The girl, disappointed, is off to Pest. She is in the same compartment as a woman artist, who, suddenly taken by an indisposition, falls out of the train travelling at high speed. Their suitcases are identical. Ilona accidentally takes the dead girl's suitcase, only realizing what has happened at the hotel. The deceased is therefore identified as Ág Ilona, while she takes a job as a singer, using the artiste's documents of identification. Her succes is spoiled by a blackmailer, the dead artiste's former partner. Hámor Feri, mournful at the death of his love, is travelling restlessly in different parts of the world, an on one day he enters the night-club where Ilona is a singer. By now, not even Feri's mother is opposed to the love of the young people. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
