Sinopsis(1)

The film takes place at the end of 1946. Rumours are spread that the food supply will not arrive for it has been robbed. Workers of the metal factory go on strike. Their factory secretary, Deák Zoli enters into negotiations with the director and in exchange of a few boxes of metal he gets the necessary food from Kuntelek. There he is received by his old comrade, Nagy Zsiga, who acts as the president of the directory, district attorney, police captain and party secretary: a dictator. When Zoli makes reproaches about this, he is put into prison together with some other Communists. Later the hurt Zsiga releases him. By the time Zoli arrives in Pest with the food, the workers have put the director in the street with his desk. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
