Sinopsis(1)

The grey hero of grey workdays, the divorced cashier of a cinema who is always willing to sacrifice herself for others, Etelka, is awarded a two-week-holiday at Lake Balaton. Following the advice of her female friend, she tries to live life at full speed. As if she were not the same person: a new hairstyle, new clothes, lipstick, cosmetics. First she flirts with a Czech artist, but her younger room-mate, Takács Anna, fishes the man away from her. The well-mannered and modest widower, Mr. Pintér, spends his holidays next to Etelka with his two children. Amidst a series of disappointments, she hardly notices the man, although Pintér paid his attentions to her already in Budapest. After a number of misunderstandings they eventually confess their love in Budapest, when Etelka, throwing her disguise away, sits back behind the counter in her true identity.
