Kemenes Ákos, a solicitor, who holds down a job in Pest, arrives in Kemenespuszta with Thea, his charming wife. He is on a visit at his parents' place. There is huge storm and their car ends up in a ditch. It is Vasaly Tamás, Ákos's childhood friend, who finds the couple. Both injured and unconscious. Thea is getting emotionally attracted towards Tamás, a strong, passionate man. Tamás also seems to be liking the beautiful woman. Still, it is Éva, Ákos's younger sister that he loves. Everything is ready for the wedding, when the news accidentally reach him that Éva's mother thinks he is nothing but a dowry-hunter, which upsets him so much that he decides to split up with the girl. Thea, encouraged by the news of the split, goes on a secret visit to see Tamás. Soon enough, enter Ákos and Éva, both of them on a mission to talk the offended young man into changing his mind. With Thea and Tamás found in each other's company, the atmo-sphere becomes one in which the shade of a doubt is there, although both of them are, in fact, innocent. However, Ákos is lenient to his wife for her momentary lapse of fidelity. Tamás and his fiancée also make it up. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
