Cuenta la historia de Paul, un hombre que recuerda su juventud y su primer -y único- amor. Rememora toda su vida centrándose en el difícil carácter de su madre cuando él era pequeño, la estrecha relación que tenía con su hermano Iván, los desencuentros con su padre cuando tenía 16 años, sus estudios en París y su creciente vocación por la antropología. If the film didn't try so hard to have some artistic statement, if it played more on the story, which is good on its own, then I'd be willing to give the film more credit. I like the time jumps, but the long shots and cuts didn't quite sit well with me. Acting-wise, I don't have much to complain about. The young and older actors are great.
