The young physician, Máté Judit, works at the children's clinic run by the famous medical professor. The mother of one of her patients, Mimi, invites her to a party where her old acquaintance, Márton asks her to be the co-worker of a distinguished sanatorium. When, as a result of the death of his father, she faces insoluble financial difficulties and has no courage to ask for help from her fellow-worker, Péter, to whom she is linked with tender feelings, she accepts the offer. From the first minute she suffers from the typical symptoms of bored and hysterical ladies and longs back to the clinic. Márton carries out an abortion on Mimi and, leaving his patient in the care of Judit, escapes. Judit commits everything but the patient dies. The court rules against the doctor who carried out an illegal operation. Judit is allowed to return to the clinic where she can indeed dedicate herself to her vocation. She even finds love by Péter's side. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
