Sinopsis(1)

Orbán Sándor, writer, is married to Ella, an actress. Their marriage is in a shambles. Ella is bored by the atmosphere of the estate, therefore she amuses herself in town, flirting with other men. Sándor, her husband, is jealous but makes no effort to pay more attention to his wife. After the death of his forester, Sándor adopts Marika, the dead man's 14 year-old daughter. In the meantime, Orbán divorces his wife, whose relationship with his adopted daughter undergoes some important change with Sándor falling in love with Marika. However, the girl is attracted by Karády, an actor who is also a loudmouth. In the hurly-burly of social life Marika is busy adopting fashionable forms of behaviour, while she is also envious of Ella's success as an actress. It is not until Orbán himself changes quite a lot that Marika realises that the one she really loves is Sándor himself. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
