Koni a promising swimmer lived in a slum of Kolkata with her widow mother and brother. Khit da a swimmer coach spotted her in a local meet. He started to train her with his own cost. Day by day, Koni showed her ability and within few days, she started to compete with state level swimmers. In such an odd her elder brother encouraged a lot. Unfortunately, her elder brother died and they became poorer. Later Koni took a job in a shop as a salesperson. Khit da on the other hand put his every effort to make her successful in state level competition, but there also politics made her isolated. At last, Koni got the chance in national meet as a reserve. Suddenly one of the contestants became ill and Koni replaced her. In final Koni showed her fighting ability and won the competition.
