Sinopsis(1)

Daughter of the widowed pensioner Tříska has died, and the old man remains alone in a residential house flat in Prague's Lesser Town. Feeling lonesome, he attempts suicide. When in hospital, a compassionate girl from neighbourhood cleans up his flat. Using addresses found on the table, she also invites his classmates who studied with him at grammar school. At the reunion one of them is represented by a friend, a former circus artiste Lojzík Očko. Despite his age he is still quite agile and full of ideas. He has noticed Tříska's deep sorrow and decides to look after him. Nevertheless, Mr Tříska has exchanged the flat, where everything reminded him of his family, and moved to another district. There he feels even worse, and his health slowly deteriorates. Lojzík is not willing to give up, and accompanied by a young woman from the social security office he manages to find Mr Tříska. He takes him to a pensioners' club and cheers up the sad man. After all the most important thing for old people is that they should not be left alone. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
