Sinopsis(1)

As a psychiatrist, Frankie should have his private life under perfect control, except that he's too fond of women. In addition to his wife Eliška, he's in several other relationships, a problem which one day gets out of hand. Now aged forty with an established, lucrative practice and a new dream house, he suddenly doesn't know where to turn and what to save first. When his secret life as a skirt-chaser comes out into the open, he sees all too well how suddenly, unexpectedly and completely his "perfect" life, envied by everyone around him, can grind to a halt: in one day, he loses his psychiatrist's license, the roof over his head and his wife, too. inglés The film had a pretty decent start, which I enjoyed even after years, but then the pace seemed to fade gradually, František changed from a funny psychiatrist with an issue to a whimpering, annoying being with many issues, and humor skulked off to hide in the shadows. In the end, I was grateful for the quiet but notable character of Miloš, played by Leoš Noha, but overall, it was really nothing special. ()

inglés This film has one advantage - it is far from being as bad as some of the non-artistic creations of the last two years, it doesn't provoke with its obvious dullness, and there is even some effort to convey some kind of message. However, the prevailing feeling is awkwardness and incompleteness of what the film is trying to convey, and is as hesitant as the main character. In the end, it is rather a film that makes you realize how other films are being made wrong. Watching this pseudo-comedy was not a waste of time, and at least I improved my reviews for other films.
