Konyec - Az utolsó csekk a pohárban

Hédi Fellegi, born into a wealthy bourgeois family, and Emil Kis, the driver of a party leader, are an elderly couple today, both wrapped up in their own solitude. Their pensions are little, they are left without elctricity. They are fed up. Emil, in the Tchaika car he got as a premium after a service of thirty years, and with the pistol that was left in the glove box, resorts to bank robbery, performing it in a reserved, polite manner, as if he wanted to repair the losses suffered by Hédi. The whole country is in excitement about the wanted pensioners. Their lives get associated with the lives of the two policemen tracing them, but the noose is tightening around their necks. They take hostages, wanting ransom; at last they drive the Tchaika into the road block. Only Ági, the policewoman, knows that the couple she has become fond of must have reached the sea, thus fulfilling the wish of their lives. (HungariCom)
