La observación del bosón de Higgs (2012) (S06E03)

inglés The third episode was hands down the best of the sixth season so far. I found myself laughing out loud more times than I could count. Howard's overwhelmed and practically collapsing psyche had me in stitches. The territory marking and the losing battle with one's own limbic system were also hilarious. / Lesson learned: Always disinfect the entire apartment after visitors leave. Just in case. ()

La minimización de la reentrada (2012) (S06E04)

inglés The creators didn't go easy on their main characters. Instead of giving the spotlight to the heroic returnee, they made Sheldon fight against Penny, who used to butcher calves at home – quite an unfair match-up, if you ask me. Anyway, I found all the situations pretty hilarious, although I can't help but wish I got to see the real-life Operation on a fresh corpse. / Lesson learned: Watch out for competitive types. ()

La excitación holográfica (2012) (S06E05)

inglés Some folks are lucky enough to have a job that feels more like a hobby – good for them (though their families might see it a bit differently). For us regular folks, work is often seen as a necessary evil, something we endure to pay the bills. So, we spend a good chunk of time figuring out how to make the daily grind a bit more enjoyable. It's a bit of a trade-off though: the more fun you're having, the more likely you are to bend a few work rules. Interestingly, even those who generally enjoy their jobs often find sex in the workplace appealing – despite being considered a serious offense. Beyond that, other things caught my interest, and in my opinion, Howard and Bernadette took the crown for the best couple's costume. ()

La aniquilación del extracto (2012) (S06E06)

inglés A solid five stars. The creators brilliantly weaved Scrabble with Stephen Hawking, elf helpers, Raj dancing in top form, Penny's yearning for education, a school bully and his henchmen, and even threw in some crunchy spaghetti. I couldn't have possibly asked for more. I had a blast throughout. / Lesson learned: Check your towel carefully before use. ()

La configuración de la cohabitación (2012) (S06E07)

inglés Howard and Bernadette's storyline felt a bit dragging for me. But if it weren't for that, I'd easily give it a solid five-star rating. I enjoyed the interactions and the storyline within the weird triangle involving Sheldon, Amy, and Wil Wheaton. Sheldon's unique brand of humor remains consistently entertaining, even in episodes about relationships. His encounter with a completely different type of tea had me in stitches. / Lesson learned: Not all teas are the same. ()

La peculiaridad del 43 (2012) (S06E08)

inglés I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Leonard's jealousy and his lack of awareness added a great layer of entertainment. Meanwhile, Raj and Howard's determination to uncover Sheldon's big secret added a nice twist to the storyline. Sheldon's fake video featuring the wormhole had me in stitches – it was genuinely hilarious!  / Lesson learned: When choosing pants, always consider the noise level. ()

Escalada de la plaza de aparcamiento (2012) (S06E09)

inglés I didn't have to hesitate about the five-star rating. The petty dispute over a parking space evolved with increasing intensity and scope, and the methods employed had me in fits of laughter. As the whole situation unfolded and impacted the behavior of once impartial individuals, it felt like the series creators had captured how wars start. / Lesson learned: Regularly mark your territory. ()

Extirpando las entrañas de un pez (2012) (S06E10)

inglés I did enjoy the tenth episode, no doubt about that, but at the same time, I was somewhat confused by it. Sheldon offering help to a sick person was a bit hard for me to wrap my head around, considering his usual prejudice and phobias – it seemed a bit out of character. Nevertheless, the fishing training and Howard's desperate attempt to survive near the Terminator had me in stitches. / Lesson learned: I love the smell of exploding ducks in the morning. ()

La simulación Santa Claus (2012) (S06E11)

inglés Aside from a couple of Raj's lines, the girls' night out didn't leave a strong impression on me. However, it was more than made up for with Dungeons & Dragons and the Christmas surprise. I can't even recall the last time I played, but I do know it's something I'd like to do again at some point. Well, a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then... / Lesson learned: Knowing a carol about Good King Wenceslas might come in handy. ()

La equivalencia del sándwich vegetal (2013) (S06E12)

inglés I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. The creators opted to focus the entire episode on the topic of sexual harassment, and they nailed it with me. The idea that these four — oh, right, Howard — these three could display inappropriate sexual behavior was amusing in its own right. However, Sheldon at the HR office had me in stitches. / Lesson learned: Menstruation is like Lord Voldemort; everyone knows it exists, but it must not be talked about. ()

La expedición a Bakersfield (2013) (S06E13)

inglés I initially thought the episode might be a bit lackluster. However, it turned out to be a clever ruse by the creators. The storyline picked up momentum, throwing in one great line after another, and if a show can make me burst out laughing, it definitely deserves a five-star rating. Interestingly, I found myself enjoying the female side of the argument more :-) / Lesson learned: Stay hydrated. ()

La inversión Cooper/Kripke (2013) (S06E14)

inglés The creators indeed built the episode mainly around Sheldon, which has proven to be a good move many times before, but this time it did not live up to a five-star rating. I did enjoy the whole episode, but it just didn't make me laugh in the same way as previous episodes. However, that doesn't mean I didn't find some great moments in it. / Lesson learned: If you don't have a suitable wedding photo, don't forget to turn off the laser. ()

La segmentación de los finales desvelados (2013) (S06E15)

inglés The fifteenth episode took on a relationship theme, but honestly, it didn't bother me one bit because I found it thoroughly entertaining throughout. Granted, this time the plot mainly focused on Sheldon's reactions, but the entire series is built on them, so that's not a downside at all. A special treat was Mrs. Wolowitz's physical presence and her interactions with Raj. / Lesson learned: Don't be a coward. ()

La prueba tangible del afecto (2013) (S06E16)

inglés Holiday-themed episodes are usually a blast, but sadly, this Valentine's Day episode fell flat for me. While there were a couple of decent laughs, the creators didn't bring anything particularly fantastic or innovative to the table. It ended up feeling like one of those obligatory events you attend but could easily skip. The main takeaway? Howard and Bernadette own a washing machine with a surprisingly large door. / Lesson learned: Buy yourself your favorite gifts for people's birthdays. ()

El aislamiento del monstruo (2013) (S06E17)

inglés Slightly better than the Valentine's episode, but honestly, the excitement was still lacking. It circled back to the relationship theme, straying from the original vibe of the series. Unfortunately, this shift also came with a noticeable drop in humor, leaving me with very few genuine laugh-out-loud moments. It's a bit of a downer since I tune in to this series for a good laugh. / Lesson learned:  No matter what they throw at you, ignore the bread and respond with appropriate ammunition. ()

La implementación de la obligación contractual (2013) (S06E18)

inglés There were some enjoyable moments that had me hooked, but, unfortunately, I also stumbled upon a few dull patches. It wasn't a total win, but it wasn't a flop either. I nudged my rating up a bit, though, because it showed some improvement compared to the last couple of episodes. / "How do I get 12-year-old girls excited?" / Lesson learned: Careful about how you phrase your Google search. ()

La reconfiguración del armario (2013) (S06E19)

inglés I'd divide the episode into two equal parts. The first one, all about Sheldon organizing closets, was a solid five-star affair. I was all in for that. The second half about a letter from Howard's father kind of threw me off. It brought in these serious topics that felt out of place in an otherwise breezy sitcom. The three stars I'm giving this episode clearly express my dissatisfaction with all that melodrama in my beloved series. / Lesson learned: When you've got friends OCD, you never have to clean again. ()

La turbulencia de la permanencia (2013) (S06E20)

inglés Episode 20 really hit the spot and, most importantly, kept me thoroughly entertained. The creators pushed aside the relationship drama, focusing on the happenings in the academic realm. Even the usually disinterested Howard was great, standing by like an unarmed hunter watching a meerkat duel. / Lesson learned: Even the smell of a corpse can, under certain circumstances, signal a golden opportunity. ()

La alternativa de la finalización (2013) (S06E21)

inglés The creators didn't really hit the mark for me with Rajesh's storyline. It felt like I'd seen these events play out a few times before. Honestly, I was leaning towards giving this episode a three-star rating. But Sheldon's part of the story saved the day. It was so hilarious that I couldn't get enough. / Lesson learned: If you've got an obsession, embrace it! ()

La resurgencia del protón (2013) (S06E22)

inglés I generally have a positive relationship with animals, and I believe it's mutual. However, I just can't stand the excessive display of love for pets. Witnessing someone happily swapping saliva with their dog makes me cringe, especially when I consider what the dog licks on a daily basis. So, Raj's part of the episode certainly didn't sit well with me, but Professor Proton's visit managed to erase those negative feelings. I had a great time, although I'm concerned that the episode might make the price of potatoes skyrocket during the current energy crisis. / Lesson learned: Meeting your childhood idol can be a disappointment for one of the participants. ()
