It’s Sunday afternoon and I feel like watching one of the older Czechoslovak films that are still far from rare sight on our national TV. This particular film, however, wouldn’t make any feminist happy. The women here are portrayed as sly foxes and tarts. Vlastimil Brodský’s character, however, isn’t any better. Moreover, his appearance in the movie is way too random and not very funny. If we’re talking movie characters named Ludvík, I much preferred the one who appeared in the Homolka comedy series. ()
