inglés An attempt at a sort of benefit “best of" performance that didn’t work out completely right. Individual scenes are chosen and put together higgledy-piggledy, and mainly without any energy at all in the actors’ performances. The boys from the Jara Cimrman Theatre Company are getting a little too old, and rather than taking this sort of mediocre look at their forty-year history, they shouldn’t have bothered. If you were expecting something new, original or some clever mystification in the best traditions of Cimrman, forget it. All that is in store for you here poorly acted sketches that everybody knows off by heart. I give it two stars out of respect, but Ze hry do hry (From One Play to the Next) is simply too lame. If you watched this without knowing Smoljak, Svěrák et al, you would probably think the very worst of their kind of humor. Unfortunately. ()
