Sinopsis(1)
In the endless corn field, there is walking a barefooted, satchelled peasant boy with a cage, in which there is a bird he teaches to say I love you. A bearded man frees caged birds in the corn field, which the boy does not understand. In his village you would be heavily beaten for a thing like this. The bearded man says that the birds come with a message to the Earth, and if you capture them, you prevent the messages from getting to their destination. On the road they meet a broken wanderer, carrying the terrible burden of wrath against his friend. The counsel of the bearded man lightens his burden, and also the boy sets free his caged bird. They part. The bearded man is beaten to death by the peasants who have been hunting for him. The boy finds out how to meet his sweetheart, who is living beyond the river (Budapest Film)
