Sinopsis(1)
One of the most famous detectives to ever hit the television screen, COLUMBO (Peter Falk) has become an iconic character in popular culture. Forever clad in a raincoat and chomping a cigar, the dishevelled Columbo seems as scatterbrained as his appearance would suggest. However, even when it appears that his investigation is going nowhere, Columbo's keen mind is absorbing details and clues, until finally he reveals that he knows everything that's happened. Any Old Port in a Storm (1973) (S03E02)
A wine-soaked crime story where Columbo puts on a top-notch performance. And this episode is even better for featuring the excellent Donald Pleasence. The satisfying and slightly sarcastic ending with the lesson about the relativity of freedom has a perfect, rounded nose. One of my favorite episodes.

Another excellent episode of Columbo that adds an interesting TV studio setting to its usually high standard.

A very good episode with some spot-on quips from Inspector Columbo. Easygoing entertainment for a Sunday afternoon. As always.

A Bird in the Hand (1992) (S10E06)
Another great Columbo, this time trying to solve two (or is it three?) cases at once. And the scene with the wet socks will be hard to forget. Personally, I was pleased with General ‘Don S. Davis’ Hammond in the minor role of a lawyer.
