Strategic Command

Rick Harden (Michael Dudikoff) is the government's top hostage negotiator. A Gulf War hero who retired from the Marines to solve problems with reason rather than action, Rick is a family man who would rather build a swing set for his daughter than fight. As Rick and his family get ready to leave on vacation, he gets an emergency call from the government. A plane containing the Vice President of the United States is being held hostage by a group of terrorists who are also in possession of a poisonous gas. As soon as Rick-who is unarmed-gets on the plane, he realizes he's in trouble. In the very back, staring down the barrel of a terrorist's gun, are his wife and daughter. Spinning into action, Rick kills one of the terrorists, takes his weapon, and begins a deadly game of cat and mouse onboard the plane-luring the terrorists into dark recesses of the aircraft and then killing them off one by one. With so many lives on the line, Rick must out-maneuver and out-think the terrorists, using every ounce of skill and courage to fight them. But as the minutes tick by, things begin to look grim. Rick is left with two dead pilots on his hands, leaving no one to fly the plane, a crazed terrorist leader who won't seem to die, and a deadly bomb, that could kill millions, set to go off at any second...
