I don’t doubt that Danielle Steel would have written this more convincingly, less messily and she would probably played it much better. And I was actually looking forward to Dagmar’s return to the screen. And the mistake doesn’t lie in her, but in the screenplay. The material is probably impossible to act, even Preiss was at sea in the movie like someone from an up-state amateur dramatics society.
