Sinopsis(1)
Ahmad lleva años viviendo en Alemania y ha vuelto a Irán, su país natal, para una corta visita. Sus amigos de la universidad deciden organizar una reunión de tres días en el mar Caspio. Sepideh, una de sus amigas, sabe que Ahman acaba de divorciarse de una alemana. Se ocupa de organizarlo todo e invita a Elly, la maestra de su hija, a la reunión. Elly cae bien a todos. El segundo día, Elly desaparece. El grupo se pone en contacto con su familia, pero no saben nada de ella. Todos culpan a Sepideh por invitar a Elly y estropearles la reunión. Poco a poco, el grupo cambia de opinión acerca de Elly, hasta que la verdad acaba por salir a la luz. (Golem Distribución)

It's not a gripping American-style film, where Americans would probably turn it into a pumped-up thriller, but it's a film that is guided on a quite human level. Nonetheless, there's tension in expecting how people will behave and what the truth is. Iran proves once again that it has very capable filmmakers.

I have nothing to fault about this two hour movie, but I have this niggling feeling that something is missing. Specifically (at least) an hour of story. Because when it begins to get a little intriguing, the movie is over. In some movies this approach works (and you don’t have to go far for an example), but certainly not here.
