Remakes are evil, and this is exactly the type of film where it shows. Harvey with James Stewart could have been quite simple, but thanks to the performances, it was captivating. But as performed by the new cast, it's a silly comedy that doesn't work in any respect. There aren't many emotions in it, nor is there much humor.
