Sinopsis(1)
John Bradley, de profesión embalsamador, vive con su mujer Martha y su hija Susan. Esta ultima colecciona tarántulas y por ello es rechazada por sus compañeros de clase. Martha y Walter, hermano de Bradley, están secretamente enamorados y han planeado matar a John. Susan, por casualidad, oye la conversación entre ambos y planea su venganza utilizando sus arañas. The American production Kiss of the Tarantula screws around with arachnophobia, even though the fact that some species could easily kill you is a bit of an exaggeration with this movie. However, this is perfectly acceptable in horror movies. It works because it is predictable. What is much more interesting is the paralysis at the end. That scene is brilliantly thought out and shot, which ultimately won me over to the movie.
