En un viaje a Cambodia, Ben -joven alemán recién graduado- conoce a Sreykeo, una chica de 21 años, originaria de Phnom Penh, quien se gana la vida como "acompañante" en un bar de la ciudad. Algo nace entre ellos, pero Ben debe regresar a casa. Cuando descubre que Sreykeo está enferma, decide responsabilizarse por cuidarla y encontrar una cura. Una decisión que lo enfrentará con un mundo desconocido, en el que las motivaciones se manejan por valores y verdades diferentes. (Canana)

It's rare to make a film about great love where one of the partners falls ill with a fatal disease without it becoming a real wringer of emotions. Here I feel that the German filmmakers truly succeeded. Apart from the story itself, you may be intrigued by the exotic Cambodian setting in which much of the action takes place. The meticulously arranged soundtrack, featuring both European and Asian music, also deserves special attention. (75%)
