The British production The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll is an example of how not to treat a classic. It is slow and unimaginative, in a way that shows the moviemakers simply went through the motions. Hammer Film Productions was known for taking a slightly different approach to horror, more overt for its time, although none of that came through in The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll.
