A group of three married couples all appear to be in love with each others' spouses. When they go to the mountains to ski an American millionaires and relative arrives on the scene. She is Miss Jonstone, and she soon causes open conflict and jealousy among the three couples by confronting them with their dishonesty and deceit. (A Stockholm lawyer has kept her well informed). Kurt Balzar and his actress wife Julia are one of the couples. Miss Jonstone is a very bossy type of American female and when she points out that Kurt Balzar is more in love with his company, Sveaverken, than he is with his wife, Balzar comes to the realization, finally, that his wife is more important to him. While Miss Johnston herself comes to a rude awakening when the local doctor, whom she intends to marry, rejects her, as he is unwilling to be pushed around by a wealthy wife. (Svensk Filmindustri)
