Angustiada por los terrores vividos en sus experiencias con hechiceros africanos, la profesora de escuela Gwen Mayfield (Joan Fontaine) acepta el cargo de directora de la escuela Haddaby, propiedad de Alan Bax (Alec McCowen) y su hermana Stephanie (Kay Walsh). At the end of the movie, you suddenly realize that nothing so significant happened. The clock rings again, life goes on in the old spirit, and everything is fine. The film probably won't leave much of an impression on you, but on the other hand, you will at least be reminded of a slightly different poetry that personally appeals to me. Don't expect horrifying scenes, but at least a somewhat mysterious atmosphere, which unfortunately is disrupted by the creators and placed under too direct light, where simply no horrors can exist.
