Iceberg, L'

I was very intrigued by the trio of Abel-Gordon-Romy and I was curious about how they did with the two films they made before "The Fairy". These were the films "Iceberg" and "Rumba". "Iceberg" was their first feature film. They had already made several short films, but they mainly knew each other from the theater scene. Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon are long-time partners who do "traveling" theater together, which is internationally recognized, not just locally in France. Their alternative theater based on grotesque and pantomime has something to say in film as well, and I'm glad I discovered their films. "Iceberg" is not as magical as "The Fairy", mainly because you already know what you're getting into. You will encounter humor that is grotesque to the point of absurdity, beautiful and kind. Even from the iceberg, I have a feeling that nothing bad should exist, although in this case, for quite some time, it seems that Fiona actually wants to divide the family. Neither of their films is completely simple, they always try to find a way to make the plot interesting, even tragic. They always maintain a level to make it acceptable for the viewer, they turn tragedy into comedy. They lighten everything. I agree with them.
