Eliseo (Javier Cámara) es feo, cojo y soltero. No ha encontrado a la mujer de su vida y no conoce el amor. Nati (Carmen Machi) es fea, le falta un pecho y está separada. Encontró al hombre de su vida, pero pese a eso, no conoce el verdadero amor. Eliseo piensa que lo peor de su vida está por llegar. Nati piensa que lo mejor de su vida está por llegar. La muerte de la madre de Eliseo vuelve a cruzar sus caminos después de veinte años, para darles una última oportunidad de ser felices de y enamorarse. On one hand, this is an ordinary comedy that doesn’t stand out in any way, on the other hand it features some scenes that are quite surprising, making me imagine my favorite Spanish hero Torrente. Torrente is by the way the only character the protagonist of this film reminded me of. Unlike him, however, Torrente has no problem with expressing his opinion and doing whatever he wants. This movie is only half-way there. The protagonist is not a fat pig reeking of sweat like Torrente and that’s why I’m giving this only three stars.
