Amish Grace

I have quite a soft spot for Amish stories. I've enjoyed the allusions to them in various shows, starting with The Simpsons and ending with 2 Broke Girls. Of the feature films, Witness and the comedy For Richer or Poorer were excellent. And I'm about to watch Breaking Amish. The whole attraction around the Amish lies in the same lesson that the film The Village was meant to convey. So for these and many other reasons, I got excited about Amish Grace. It’s an excellent TV movie based on a true story. (11.12.2012)
