I wasn’t very pleased with the third season of Sherlock. It struggled to pick up momentum, and I felt like the creators had been slacking off for two years. I can’t praise them for the lousy job they did. The two previous seasons were far more convincing. Season 3 seemed farfetched. Overelaborate plots were solved in even more elaborate ways, Mary Watson's dark past felt terribly forced, so I was grateful for that little bit of a Christmas atmosphere at the Holmes'.
