Cuando la catástrofe nuclear en Chernobyl se hace presente, una joven pareja ve cómo el día de su boda se convierte en un desastre que trastoca sus vidas para siempre. Él es bombero con un llamado hacia el inferno. Años después, ella se gana la vida realizando visitas guiadas para turistas al área afectada. Atrapados entre las posibilidades de irse o quedarse, los locales de esa zona viven en un estado de animación suspendida. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)

Some human destinies are interesting and are therefore worth making a film about. But sometimes the presentation is such that it doesn't really do much. I think that's the problem with Land of Oblivion. It failed to impress me, even though it's not badly acted at all and it's dramatic. Yet it still seemed a little ordinary to me.
