inglés Places in Cities is, in a way, also a story about how intensely material security affects the lives of teenagers. And since Mimmi has none, it is not self-satisfying for her to be part of democratic Western Europe. She should live a better life, if only for being a Berliner and speaking good French, unafraid to forge friendships across the centers of European progress... But it's not that simple. What is the use of all the possibilities in the world if she has to decide where and with whom she will lay her head down before graduation? ()
