HBO has a gift for original and fresh topics. In this case, it stands on a strong story from a concentration camp, an actor who tells the story, and a minimalistic location that is supposed to complete the already quite raw atmosphere. Then all we need is our imagination, which has been expanded by a thousand and one directors, and you actually already have a very strong and unique thing in the making.
