inglés The Shadow Line is tense in places, sometimes there is good work with the atmosphere by the creators, and above all they outline a story that promises a memorable experience. Many of the series characters have great potential and you can look forward to seven genre delicacies. Yet as the minutes go by, the series starts to falter here and there. The creators play out a conspiracy game that is overly ambitious and they stop being credible. It's, how should I put it, too over-the-top. The character Gatehouse would fit better on the pages of a comic book than in a crime TV series. Some moments, precisely the ones that the creators consider crucial, are untrustworthy, the twists are exaggerated, and I dare say that in real life, Gatehouse would choose a completely different solution, i.e., his choice was extremely risky given the nature of the new bosses. I would like it if the creators stayed grounded and if the series was "only" about the classic dilemma of who prevails in the succession after the leader of the clan dies. I liked the cast, except perhaps for Kierston Wareing, who seemed to me with her puffy lips as if she had just come out of a cosmetic salon after collagen treatment. Overall impression: 60%. ()
