Crossing Salween

Ever since the Burmese army swept through her village and massacred her family, Ko Reh has been on the run. She is a member of the Karen, a Christian minority which is persecuted in Burma. Ko Reh might find refuge in Thailand, but in order to get there she must cross the turbulent Salween River. Will Ko Reh's guardian angel watch over her this time too? (Berlinale)
