How is it that Magnuskovi manages to get such big-name actors in his films? It seems to me that at least 50% of the actors who mean something and have a name have appeared here. The declining quality is another matter, but it is not due to the acting performances, only to the screenplay that has already been overcooked by those quite good noodles that believed in the first film. The same thing is still being discussed and now it is only necessary to answer the question of what will happen to Majer. Some additional stories are just for show, as well as the necessary vulgarity and disgust of those bastards, which is already somewhat exhausted. (25.11.2013)

The intellectual undergrowth, riddled with the humblest populist metastasis that kills the Czech viewer's thinking potential even more virulently than Troška's comedies, along with the absolutely anti-cool filmmaking, takes on an almost bizarre air, where there is a shallow hunger for vulgar catchphrases and explicit commentary on everything that is happening around us; the other acting stars, in turn, wonder where the money for this will be found. I watched the first instalment and it shocked me, then I recovered for a few years and then I watched the third instalment on TV. And I think that was enough. I made up my mind. Tomáš Magnusek is crazy, he filmed it the same way the Nova production filmed The Can, meaning terribly. Anyway, I have to say that in the six hours of the complete trilogy there’s an idea that is definitely worth thinking about. I can’t objectively say if Magnusek is speaking so much from his own experience or just brutally exaggerates. My aunt works at a special school and it’s certainly not that extreme. The movie is racist in a completely insane way, but I can’t say I disagree with anything. It’s hard to judge otherwise, when you live in Mladá Boleslav and you see the Roma at every corner and every week you hear about where they’ve fought, what they’ve stolen or who they’ve hurt. In my opinion, Magnusek went to the extreme with Bastardi, so I don’t understand the fact that the Roma wanted to act in it and that they played gypsy songs at the end of the credits. That whole racist thing actually completely turns the whole trilogy around. Well, I watched it, made my opinion about it, and I don’t need to see it again. (03.04.2013)
