Standing Up

Story of a boy (11) and a girl (12) who flee from summer camp after being subjected to a cruel prank by their bullying peers. The two runaways find both their confidence and friendship growing over the course of their three-day adventure. Director D.J. Caruso adapts Brock Cole's award-winning young adult novel The Goats to tell the story of a boy and a girl, ages 11 and 12, who are ostracized by their peer groups at summer camp. The outsiders soon find themselves victims of a vicious prank, but rather than returning to camp to face the humiliation, they decide to take off on the run together.
