Die Vermissten

Lothar, the father of a missing daughter, decides to take the search in his own hands. He gradually learns that the number of missing children is increasing and the cases are being closed without any success. During his quest, Lothar watches the transformation of the world where children willingly and in great numbers leave their homes, all the while developing his own addiction. On the background of a desolate suburban landscape, the drama with an apocalyptic tinge and slow tempo follows Lothar's changing mental condition as he notices the alarming transformation of modern Germany.
