Daca bobul nu moare

The story of two fathers, who look for their offspring all around the corrupted Balkan countries where the business with alcohol, prostitution, and corpses flourishes, is full of dark humor. The pair is linked not only by a tragic event and fatherly love, but also by their similar social background. To alleviate the dramatic situations, director Sinisa Dragin uses dark humor which strongly resembles the work of Emir Kusturica. The main elements creating the "Balkan" atmosphere of the film are folk music, absurd situations, and peculiar temperament of the protagonists. (Febiofest)
