inglés A lovely miniature, the essence of what I adore about Anton Chekhov, i.e., irony sometimes turning into sarcasm, a sense for detail, capturing the essence of the problem, and wonderful characters. A glimpse into the Russian "better" society of the 19th century at your fingertips. Pivec and Chramostová are magnificent, and Pešek is well-cast and does what he can. Overall impression: 90%. ()
