One of the most successful "escape" comedies on the grateful theme of unexpected enrichment that changes the attitudes of the surroundings and one's own decisions. A quality screenplay and above all the cast led by Oldřich Nový still make it a more than acceptable affair by Valentin Dobrotivý even today. Overall impression: 70%.

It took me a while to get into it and to start enjoying it, but after that half hour, maybe a little later, I was once again hooked on the beautiful humor of our black and white "for memory" films. But let's face it, not many people will really remember their premiere. But that's okay because these movies still have something to offer us. The ending is fantastic.
