Hot Rod Apprentice

In this new series Jimmy Shine - an experienced hot-rod builder - passes on his experience to four trainees, each with a very different background and reason for wanting to succeed. The four will help create expensive cars for picky clients who won't accept anything less than perfect. There's also the opportunity to burn some rubber, as Jimmy needs a pit crew for the race cars he is building. Jimmy will be leader, craftsman, friend and mentor to each of them, but only one of the trainees will earn themselves a permanent job with Jimmy. Who will make the grade?
