I don't know if the creators think they have a great screenplay on their hands when they see this, but a comedy of conversation must have one crucial attribute - humor. Unfortunately, this is lacking in the movie "The Great Divide", and therefore it belongs to the ranks of classic films in which it is long, empty matters are dealt with, and even when it seems like something gets resolved, they are banalities that are not even funny. And everyone acts as if they are great actors. This simply is not and cannot be a good film.
