Aya

A coincidence brings together a member of a musical contest jury from Finland and a woman who is supposedly his Israeli driver, Aya. Together in a car on an Israeli highway, they experience amusing moments in this unusual setting. At the end of their journey, it is solely up to them how to finish the evening. This mid-length film takes place mostly within the confined space of their car, relying on dialogue, tasteful humour and a carefree atmosphere. Directors, Oded Binnun and Mihal Brezis, effortlessly contemplate the dichotomy between the choices of the heart and of reason. (Febiofest)
