It wasn't a standing ovation, but there was still some improvement. The bedbugs were clearly a good idea because the creators were able to push the plot to a slight absurdity that I quite enjoyed. Although I found some humor, the drama is not going well for the screenwriters this time, so I might have to reconsider my previous opinion of the main antagonist from last season.
