Sinopsis(1)

After his parents' death, Shawn, 19-years-old and mildly delinquent, tries to look after his 9-year-old sister Julie to cash in on his dad's life insurance. Shawn quickly learns what it means to be an older brother and grow up too fast. Nineteen-year-old Shawn battles everyone and everything to raise his nine-year-old sister Julie. Unexpectedly orphaned, without even having had the time cry, due to the consequences that the financial crisis has on real people like them, Shawn finds himself lost in an apathetic society in which the adults are weak, confused, threatening, vague and unable to be radical or caring. He quickly learns what it means to be an older brother and grow up too fast. (Cinemax)

inglés There’s nothing Belgian about this Belgian movie. From the very beginning, it’s a fairly decent American drama with American actors and obviously American locations. In any case, its social and realistic story has the director to thank, because he added a decent portion of European drama, which added the personality that I love about European dramas. Unlike independent American dramas where I don’t know what to think at all. That makes Little Glory an American story with European interpretation, which doesn’t clash – on the contrary. ()
