Its not hard to get yourself into strife. But not so easy to get out of it. TRICKY BUSINESS looks at the lengths some people go to get themselves out of trouble. Kate is an over-organised, but loving single parent, struggling to get the familys mercantile agency out of debt. Its a mission complicated by two men, opposites of each other and both vying for her heart: Rick her business partner and live-in lover, and the mysterious mobile merc Matt. When Ricks get-rich-quick scheme loses all the agencys money, Kate is forced to move - with her daughter Emma - back into the family home and finds it is not easy to have three generations living under the one roof! Then theres Lily, Kates sister and Chad, the Gen Y members of the extended family. And while they are basically easy-going twenty somethings they have their own secrets and complicated affairs of the heart. But as with all affairs of the heart, life can often prove to be a tricky business!
