Chad y Howard son dos jóvenes frustrados: los dos han sido despedidos, y su vida sentimental es peor todavía ya que sus novias les acaban de abandonar.Los protagonistas intentarán vengarse del mundo intentando conquistar a una joven bastante difícil y peculiar. A chilling and funny story of two friends who bet on who will be the first to hook up with their deaf colleague from work. But one of them falls in love with her, leading to unexpected complications. A pleasant surprise, even though LaBute is not a very inventive filmmaker, his direction is static and lacking ideas, but the weaker he is as a director, the better he is as a writer. What makes this film stand out are the well-written dialogues and the performances, especially Aaron Eckhart, he’s superb. All in all, the debut of LaBute, originally a theatre director, was quite successful.
