The passion for high speed can nowadays almost be seen in the new-born. The film shows that such passion, if not controlled, is self-destructing and even suicidal. At least this is the way Trnka presents it in this satiric story. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)

A cruel satire stylized to the contemporary times. Trnka's classical style has been subordinated to the new wave of fashion and his original characteristic artistic expression is disappearing. At the same time, Trnka's appeal to certain boundaries in each of us plays hardball.

Jiří Trnka shows that he is able to use truly interesting themes in animated films, which are not so typical for animations. Here, it is about a passion that is unstoppable. We always want to do something, at any cost, it doesn't matter if we hurt ourselves, as long as we love what we do. Although it's about motorism, it can easily be related to any passion.
